Happy Handcrafts designs were originally inspired by the art of the Ndebele Tribe of the Northern province region of South africa, known for their strikingly decorated homes. Today our products reflect the colours, art and culture of the landscapes and people of Southern Africa. Each piece is unique in that it is individually handmade and hand painted by local african craftsmen and women using high quality leather and paint. It is our intention to maintain the unique colourful and individual nature of our product by resisting mechanisation and providing opportunities for employment.
