We make embroidered quilts, wall hangings, gift bags, cushions.The work is done by previously unemployed African women who now have a selfhelp group to provide their own employment. They embroider colourful scenes from their folk tales onto quilts, wall hangings etc. The buyer receives an English translation of the African folk tale with the article. All materials are pre-shrunk and washable. The work had been exibited at various art exibitions of folk art in Johannesburg.
