I - Prashad Bemmulla - and my partner - Sudesh Wedisinghe - have recently ventured in to our own business stream of imports/exports of various commodities to/from Sri Lanka.
Prelude - Who we are ?

Just to throw some light on our calibre, I - Prashad Bemmulla - hail from Colombo, had my entire education there and passed out from the world renowned Chartered Institute of Marketing UK as a professional marketer.
My fourteen year corporate career revolves around job stints not only in Sri Lanka but also in Kuwait, Dubai UAE and Bombay/Chennai, India in various disciplines of shipping / logistics / freight forwarding / marine management etc., attached to various global Danish, German, British conglomerates such as AP Moller - Maersk A/s, DHL Global Forwarding, Inchcape Shipping Services etc.,
My partner - Sudesh Wedisinghe, a graduate from University of Wales Institute, Cardiff, UK - also possesses diverse knowledge and experience, having started off his corporate career in Sri Lanka in the filed of advertising, handling sales & marketing functions, and his exposure in to multinational organizations during his days in Malaysia and London UK has further strengthened our business thinking.
What we expect to do ?

Based on our preliminary research work on post war Sri Lanka and other few countries in the Middle East and Western Europe, it has been decided to venture in to buying/importing and selling/exporting of Food Stuff, Stationary, Dental Materials, Disposable Medical Equipment, Apparel, Fashion Accessories etc.,
Initially, we would be starting our operations from Sri Lanka - before venturing in to Middle East and Western Europe - as a test run and results would lead us in penetrating in to the rest of the markets.
Our main import countries would be China and Maldives.
