Tube City IMS claims a proud heritage of partnership, innovation and integrity dating back more than 86 years. Tube City was founded in 1926 as a scrap iron and metal dealer in McKeesport, PA. At the time, McKeesport was home to the largest pipe and tube mill in the world and nicknamed "The Tube City." So it was only natural to name the company Tube City Iron and Metal. In 1928, the company moved to Glassprot, PA, which remains the location of our corporate headquarters.

IMS traces its roots to a company that operated a sand and gravel pit in the Cleveland, OH, area in 1936 and later expanded its operations into slag processing and metal recovery.

In December 2004, Tube City and IMS combined to create Tube City IMS,
one of the world's leading outsourced steel services organizations.

Now Tube City IMS HQ located in Glassport, PA, USA. Our main business is Mill Service.

Tube City IMS is USA basis company and start Asia business since 2006.
Tube City IMS(TMS) is list company in new York stock market and own 4,000 employees, 85 office in whole world. Currently there are 7 office in Asia country.

There are representative Office in Taiwan Kaohsiung, China Beijing, Indonesia jakarta, Vietnam Ho Chi Minh, South Korea Seoul, and register in Singapore. In 2009, Taiwan establish a representative Office which operate steel product ( such as coil and wire rods....) trading and scrap processing business, and transform to the local legal entity in 2010. Tube City IMS Taiwan Limited is 100% subsidiary of Tube City IMS LLC USA head offce.

Taiwan office is main business center of Tube City Asia dept. and has financial function here. All Asia to Asia business, we use Taiwan entity as contract party. Here is main business scope to Tube City IMS Taiwan office:
1. Export steel coil fm both Taiwan and China origin.
(1) Export from Taiwan : we do businee with all maior Taiwan steel mills, our main supplier are TonYi, Sysco, Yieh Phui, Prosperity Tieh, Tensionx. We have fixed Qty in Sysco, Yieh Phui which both are the highest quality GI/ GL/ PPGI/ PPGL in Taiwan. Our main export area is Southeast Asia.
(2) Trangle trade : Main export to Southeast Asia from China, and focus on wire rod and GI, Tinplate.

3. Other raw material for steel making.
