Grand Power Inc. (GPI) is a newly establish company, with key team members who are all have 10 to 20 yeras experience in electronic and power area. GPI has manufacturing site in Taiwan and China. The major product service is Mini Power Adaptor, which is the smallest adaptor in the world. (patent pending) . The Mini Power Adaptor can meet Green Power requirement of 2004. It can replace the traditional Linear Power Adaptor. The power range now are up to 29 watts, from 4.5 vote to 24 vote, and up to 1.5 ampere. All are UL/ TUV/ CE certified. We are developing high power range adaptor now, and will be available on 2Q 2003. The weight of mini adaptor is only 80 gram, and size around 50x40x30mm, wall mount type. Input range 90--120 or 200--240 vote.
The application of the mini adaptor is quite wide. Such as ADSL modem, Cable modem, LCD Monitor, Portable DVD Player, Portable printor, CCD monitor, Health equipment, MP3 Player, CD Player, VCD Player, Walkman CD Player. And, GPI has Mini Power Module, for PCB build-in power solution. The application are in these fields: LCD TV, Electric bycicle battery Charger, Handycap car battery Charger, etc.
The leader of the team is Dr. Patrick Yao, who was the leader of the first Battery research team in Taiwan under Taiwan Government support. The company has a very strong financial support, and the major owner is the listed company in Taiwan, whoes sales revenue was 200 MUSD in 2001.
