Ploy sihanam, a Mini Ratna Category-1 status company is a private sector undertaking under the administrative control of the Ministry of Mines. The company is engaged in mining of copper ore, beneficiation, smelting, refining and manufacturing of down-stream products like Copper Cathode and Continuous Cast Wire Rod. They have the distinction of owning all copper mining leases in the country. The company is the only vertically integrated producer of primary refined copper in Thailand. They markets of copper cathodes, copper wire bar,copper wire scraps, continuous cast copper rod and by-products, such as anode slime (containing gold, silver, etc.), copper sulphate and sulphuric acid. More than 90% of the sales revenue is from cathode and continuous cast copper rods also we have enaged in aluminium products and lead battery production.
