Teknopanel Roof and Wall Panels CO. was founded in Mersin, a port city located in Southern Turkey, on January 24, 2005. It is headquartered in Tarsus-Mersin Industrial Zone on a 33,600 m2 area, where it has offices and production facilities.
Our goal is to provide products and services to various countries, focusing on the Middle-East and Mediterranean. Mersin serves a valuable setting with its position on the Mediterranean Sea; its convenient location facilitates sea shipping and provides road transportation to a range of destinations.
Teknopanel is specialized in design, production and distribution of insulated panels, trapezoidal sheets, expanded polystyrene (EPS), extruded polystyrene (XPS) and Neopor insulation foam. We produce sandwich panels in five types of insulation: Rockwool, Glasswool, Polyurethane (PUR), Polyisocyanurate (PIR) and Expandable Polystyrene (EPS).
We have built our production facilities using the newest equipment and advanced manufacturing technology. We put trapezoidal sheet and EPS production lines into service in January 2006, insulated panel and mineral wood lines in August 2006, and XPS production line in March 2010.
With the installation of the second panel production line in March 2011, we have increased our insulated panel production capacity by 2.5 times. Our annual production has reached over 4 million m2, making us reach out to new destinations in Africa and Middle East.
Teknopanel accomplished to be the first sandwich panel producer with a TSE in Rockwool Roof and Wall production in Turkey. It has the TSE certificate in polyurethane insulated sandwich panel production and has been producing panels with the CE mark since January 2010.
