Detail Standard Company was created in 1990.We saw the need for standardizing certain details that were used repetitively in the design of automation and special machines.Our engineering background made it obvious that we could streamline the design and build process by making common sizes of these details available to machine builders.Machine building process starts with engineering; so a line of products was developed and placed in a catalog that was "user friendly" to the designers and engineers in the business.Once our catalog began circulating, the cost effectiveness became obvious to designers and builders alike.Designers no longer had to draw and process the prints for these details... they simply listed the parts on the drawings.The builders no longer had to read prints and manufacture the parts... they simply ordered the parts.The risk of mistakes in design and manufacturing scrap parts was virtually eliminated and the lead time was cut to the bare minimum. Through the years, we have expanded our product line and developed lasting relationships with many of our customers.Our design background enables us to ask the "right questions" when a call comes in for a certain product or application.We have developed patented manufacturing processes that allow us to manufacture a wide variety of parts that maintain the quality and integrity of much more expensive, individually produced parts.
