The Royal Jasper Mine in Nevada is seeking a factory to cut and polish tile from itsBlock rock. The stone has a hardness of at least 6. 5 and is highly silicated. It is a little harder than most granite and takes a very high gloss polish. It is excellent for counter tops and floor tile and to the best of our knowledge there is not other rock like it in the world available as tile. It will be a very high end tile.
