WIET was established in 2005 as a cement and industrial commodities brokerage firm, to represent companies from the former Soviet Union as Ukraine, Poland, Russia, and Latvia. Using our established business relationships within the government procurement sector, WIET LLC quickly established itself as leader in this industry and achieving sales of over $6 million range in the third year of operations.
In 2007 WIET LLC opened it's first foreign offices in Moscow Russia and in Hong Kong China, to meet consistent and high demand from our international and domestic customers. However, with the financial crisis hitting it's peak in 2008 the construction industry took in heavy loses and so did our company. To stay afloat we carefully renegotiated our contracts with our customers, freight forwarders, and cement manufactures, in order to keep our business running smoothly and to prevent laying off any employees.
We are very proud of the fact that we were able to keep our business running without any layoffs or contract delays. This is all thanks to our customers and partners who have been working with us for over 7 years, building our businesses and our friendships together.
Our hope is that every company which is interested in getting good service and getting even better products would give us a chance to work with them. We stick to the contract and supply every shipment on time without any delays or quality issues. We will be loyal to you just as we have been loyal to our own employees for over 7 years.
